Your help with any of the following would be much appreciated:

1) Help us find an office space. We’re looking for a reasonably-priced, small room to rent (or better yet a donated space!) in or around Berkeley for our two part-time staff members to work in. We are happy to share space with another organization. Hoping to move in the fall of 2010.

2) Help us furnish that new office space. Once we find an office space, we’ll need the following items: a printer, scanner and copier; 2 desks; a small conference table with chairs; a book shelf; a file cabinet.  If you know someone who could donate any of these items, please let us know.

3) Work with us as a media/video intern. We’re looking for a media/video intern available in the fall of 2010 to help us create short video clips and post them on our website and on YouTube to promote the foundation’s work in Haiti.  Our hope is that this volunteer will be in the San Francisco Bay Area and have access to video software, including iMovie.

4) Donate laptops. Most of the computers used in the Summer camp and the After-School Program were destroyed in the earthquake.

5) Donate a projector. Our Haitian partners need a projector for their office in Port-au-Prince.

6) Become a What If? Volunteer. We welcome volunteers, who help with everything from stuffing envelopes for big mailings, to staffing tables at benefits for the What If? Foundation, to helping with graphic design projects. Call or email if you want to talk about how YOU can help!

7) Coordinate a What If? fundraising event in your community. These events make such a difference and can be a lot of fun. Please see our “Host a Dinner” and  “Other Fundraising Ideas” pages for ideas, and contact us if you want any support in planning it.

Suggest On That Day, Everybody Ate to your book group and/or help us let other book groups know about the book. Or give the book to someone as a gift! It’s is a wonderful way to introduce people to the work of the What If? Foundation. (Visit the book’s website to learn more.)
