We are committed to keeping our administrative expenses low. In 2012, 87% of expenditures went directly to fund programs we support in Haiti. In 2011, 85% of expenditures went directly to program support. The increase in the percentage of funds allocated to administrative costs over the last few years reflects the fact that the administrative work grew after the 2010 earthquake, and that the What If? Foundation Executive Director position is no longer a volunteer position.
The What If? Foundation has grown in large part thanks to donors sharing news about our work with their friends, family, co-workers, faith communities, and other groups. Thank you for your help in spreading the word about our work with the children in Haiti!
