Supporting food and education programs for impoverished children in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, providing hope and opportunity for a brighter future

Founder of FEED THEM WITH MUSIC films visit to food program

Posted Sep 2nd, 2010

Singer/songwriter Paul Frantzich, founder of an amazing nonprofit called FEED THEM WITH MUSIC (FTWM), produced a beautiful video about FTWM that includes great footage of his visit to the food program we support in July. Check out the video below!

FTWM has a unique way of alleviating hunger around the world through music. It donates a percentage of the money that artists earn through “all things music” (which includes concert ticket and merchandise sales as well as digital music downloads) to feed hungry people in the US and abroad. Through various food distribution partners, including the What If? Foundation, it provides meals to hungry people in over 60 countries. (For more information about FTWM see www.feedthemwithmusic.com.)

In Paul’s video you’ll see the food program in action and hear some great music too. We are so grateful to him for his generous contributions. He raised money to cover the cost of many meals. He also brought a lot of joy to the children by sharing his music and, as you will see in the video, inviting them to sing along.

Paul’s says: “Feed them with music because music can nourish the soul… and body.” And that is just what he does.

*While there are days the food program we fund in Haiti has served 5,000 meals, as Paul says, the average number of meals served each weekday is currently closer to 3,000
